Google vs. The Little Guy
Google vs. The Little Guy is an article talking about how Google pushed a small "GPS like" company called Skyhook out of a deal with Motorola that would have amounted for a great success for the company. Skyhook is now suing Google for tens of millions for what they have done. This all went to show me how many contracts go into putting a phone on the market. It also was interesting to see the ways that large companies like Motorola go through every aspect of each product and look for ways to cut corners to cut cost. In the end it is all very interesting to see how companies use many different ways to increase their core competencies and create more efficient processes. It would also have been very interesting to see Google and Motorola's explanations for the claimed issues. All and all I would like to see what the results of this case end up being.
